My many years of working in the travel industry led me to the realisation that if you didn’t fit the norm of the mass traveller then the doors of some destinations felt closed to you. So I got thinking, how could I offer trips to those who didn’t quite match the brochure photo? I wanted to enable people to share their interests & passions with others, whilst enjoying a new holiday destination, by offering themed, small group trips.
And so Travel & Tonic was born! Travelling has always been my tonic, my remedy for the stresses that can creep in to our ‘everyday’ … if your mind jumped straight to thinking our name was related to a Gin & Tonic well that’s fine by me too as many a brilliant plan has been conceived over a shared G&T somewhere in the world!
Our passions are often our tonic so combining them with a holiday is a perfect fit!
